EPRP: More than 25 peacefully demonstrating Ethiopian Muslims (including one baby at least) butchered by the Federal police, hundreds wounded and more than a thousand rounded up. Come Eid, today, hundreds were beaten in Addis Abeba and prevented from prayers and peaceful protest. For more than a year Ethiopian Muslims have staged a heroic and commendable protest action opposing the Meles regime’s gross and illegal interference in their religious affairs. Thousands have been rounded up, dozens have been accused as terrorists, hundreds tortured and a vast and insidious campaign trying to link the protest to extremism launched.
