SOCEPP:  Former editor of ASQUAL newspaper, Dereje Begashaw, is facing grave dangers to his very existence in a situation of difficult exile in Kampala, Uganda. Dereje, a persistent activist within the Ethiopian community in East Africa, has been threatened with deportation and worse, assaulted, and denied his human rights for years and the situation has worsened when and since his wife has been forced to join him in exile.
