Feyissa Woyessa: I have read Professor Tecola Hagos` piece entitled “the rebirth of Ethiopia: Medrek the Winner.” and found it farfetched and unrealistic. The existence of Medrek in Ethiopia does not advance the struggle to get rid of the fascist and racist rule of the TPLF. It is rather a step backward in the anti-fascist struggle of Ethiopians. As a former member of the TPLF, the professor is well aware of the fact that the front is ethno-fascistic in its nature and stands for Tigrayan hegemony and supremacy.  As I gather from his previous postings, his conflict is with the ethno-fascist Meles Zenawi, not the TPLF per se.
