On December 13/ 2003 soldiers and security personnel of the ruling EPRDF killed more than 400 Anuaks (some say the number is much more than that) in a murderous campaign that lasted for days. The brutal massacre was ordered by Meles Zenawi himself and two other top officials of the Tigrean Front /TPLF/, Abaye Tsehaye and Dr. Barnabas, are also to be blamed for the crime.
